WEEKLY AGENDA OF JAPAN-RELATED ACTIVITIES ________________________________________________ Monday, August 10 to Sunday, August 16, 2009

MONDAY 10 . Origami exhibition (paper folding art), from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. . Activities for children organized by the Argentine Federal Police, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Japanese Garden of Buenos Aires (Av. Casares y Berro, Cdad. de Bs. As.). Entrance: $ 5.- . Cosplay photography exhibition in Japan, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Cultural Center of the Japanese Embassy (Paraguay 1126, Cdad. de Bs. As.) WEDNESDAY 12 . Radio program: "JAPAN TODAY". The following topics are presented: "Japanese architecture", "Traditional Japanese music" and "Minka Japanese house in San Isidro", among others. On Radio Palermo FM 93.9, from 5 to 6 pm. www.japon-hoy.com.ar or www.radiopalermo.com.ar FRIDAY 14 . Tea Ceremony demonstration, at 2:30 pm. At the Cultural Center of the Japanese Embassy (Paraguay 1126, Bs. As. Cdad.) SATURDAY 15 . Guided tour of the Japanese Garden, 3 pm. . Kamishibai (Paper theater), 4 pm. At the Japanese Garden (Casares y Berro avenues, Bs. As. Cdad.) Admission: $ 8.- SUNDAY 16 . Guided tour of the Japanese Garden, 3 pm. . Ikebana demonstration (flower arrangement art), 4 pm. . Bonsai demonstration, 4:30 pm. . Screening of works and anime talk, 5 pm. At the Japanese Garden (Casares y Berro avenue, Buenos Aires City).
