Obonfest 2009 is Here
Oregon Buddhist Temple will celebrate Obon with plenty of great food, a Taiko performance, craft sales, and Bon Odori, which will begin at 6:30 p.m.  This year OBT will be hanging chochins (paper lanterns), which have been personalized with the names of deceased loved ones and their date of passing.

Obon is an annual Japanese festival commemorating one's ancestors.
