The Embassy of Japan in Argentina and the University of Business and Social Sciences (UCES) through the Asia Pacific Chair and the Institute of Applied Economics invite you to the Conference: «The Japanese style of business administration applied to Latin American countries», which will be given by Dr. Nobuo Kawabe PhD. It will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, at 6:00 p.m., in the Main Auditorium of UCES Paraguay 1338, 3rd Basement, City A. de Buenos Aires. The speaker is Dr. Nobuo Kawabe, Professor at the School of Business Sciences, Waseda University, Japan and PhD from Ohio State University, United States. His topics of specialization and research: economic development in Asia, changes in society, Japanese style management and its transfer abroad, globalization of companies and the logistics revolution in Asia, among others. Dr. Nobuo Kawabe's lecture will cover the following topics: 1. Characteristics of the Japanese style of business management 2. How and why did the Japanese style of business management develop after World War II? 3. Competitiveness of Japanese companies and the Toyota production system 4. The collapse of the Economic Bubble and the expected changes in the Japanese style of business management. 5.
