Japanese Prints and Pottery Exhibited at Northern Illinois University

Ukiyo-e prints, modern Japanese prints, and pottery from the Richard F. Grott Family Collection will be on display through March 7, 2008, at the Northern Illinois University (NIU) Art Museum in DeKalb. The exhibitions are part of a project titled "National/International Consciousness in Japan: Self, Place and Society during the Nineteenth, Twentieth and Twenty-first Centuries."

A public reception for the exhibitions will be held on Thursday, January 24, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm, featuring performances by the Japanese American Service Committee Tsukasa Taiko drum group.
