Asian Improv aRts Midwest and the Japanese American Service Committee of Chicago present The Fourth Annual Chicago Taiko Legacy in two free performances on December 29 and 30, 2007.

On Saturday, December 29, Tokyo-based shamisen masters Chizuru Kineya and Koujime Yoshimura will give a lecture/demonstration at the Japanese American Service Committee (JASC, 4427 N. Clark Street, Chicago) from 10:30 am to noon.

On Sunday, December 30, the JASC Tsukasa Taiko will join with Ms. Kineya, Ms. Yoshimura, Fujima Shunojo of the Fujima Ryu of Chicago, Melody Takata of San Francisco's Gen Taiko, and Jason Matsumoto of Chicago's Ho Etsu Taiko for a performance at the Chicago Cultural Center (78 E. Washington) at 3 pm.
