The city of Registro welcomes the talented pianist Ai Yazaki in another concert by the Brazilian Society of Japanese Culture and Social Assistance. Ai Yazaki began her piano studies at a very young age, at the age of 5, in her homeland, Japan. Living in Brazil since 1996, the following year she participated in the Campos do Jordão Winter Festival, playing Schuberto's quintet “A Truta”. She continued to hone her talent in Brazil, graduating from the Universidade Livre de Música Tom Jobim, in São Paulo, studying piano with Cristina Machado and harmony with Júlio César Figueiredo. She also studied at the Centro Livre de Aprendizagem (CLAM) with Nelson Bergamini. She was also a student of Yukari Iwasaki and, since 2003, has been studying with pianist Ciro Gonçalves Dias Jr. In 1999, she began performing in concert halls, restaurants, clubs and bars in various locations in São Paulo. Since 2004, he has accompanied Japanese singer Mariko Nakahira. In 2005, he gave his first piano recitals at the Sociedade Brasileira de Cultura Japonesa and at the Teatro Yuba in Mirandópolis, in the interior of São Paulo. In October and November 2006, he toured Japan in a duo with saxophonist Yoshiya Kusamura, performing in cities such as Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya. He returned to Japan in 2007, when he accompanied singer Joe Hirata as a keyboard player during his eight-city tour in Japan in May and April. In July, he performed at the opening of the 14th Nikkei Pan-American Convention, alongside opera singers Toshie Mori, Kenichi Yoshikawa and Shinobu Hasegawa, in the large auditorium of the Sociedade Brasileira de Cultura Japonesa. The event marks Bunkyo's 35th concert, and it is the first time that it has been held in the city of Registro. Piano Recital : Program: Nazaré, Vila Lobos, Miyake, Hirai, Chopin.
