The National Puppet Theatre of Osaka, Japan, will make its Midwestern debut in two performances of classic Bunraku masterworks.

On Saturday, October 6, 2007, at 7:30 pm, the troupe will appear at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. On Monday, October 8, they will come to the Chicago area at the Cahn Auditorium Theater at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
