National Puppet Theatre of Japan in First Ever Midwest Performances, Chicago

The National Puppet Theatre of Osaka, Japan, will make its Midwestern debut in two performances of classic Bunraku masterworks.

On Saturday, October 6, 2007, at 7:30 pm, the troupe will appear at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. On Monday, October 8, they will come to the Chicago area at the Cahn Auditorium Theater at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Tickets for the October 8 performance can be obtained by calling the Cahn Auditorium box office at 847.491.7282.
