The Little Tokyo Historical Society (Los Angeles, CA) will meet on Saturday, October 28th, 2006 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy (adjacent to the Japanese American National Museum). Harry Honda, often referred to as a "walking encyclopedia" of Little Tokyo history, will be our speaker. Mr. Honda will include in his talk the history of the Maryknoll Japanese Catholic Center, one of Little Tokyo's oldest churches. Participants at the meeting will also learn how to contribute information to this website's Nikkei Album feature. All are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact Kio Tong-Ishikawa at lthistory@gmail.com.
