46th Convention of Nikkei and Japanese Abroad Organizer: Association of Nikkei Abroad (Kaigai nikkeijin Kyokai) Date: September 13 - 15, 2005 Theme: Challenges of the Nikkei Community in a New Stage - Its Objectives and Tasks Venue: Kensei Kinenkan / IFIC (Kokusoken) The purpose of this Convention is to bring together people of Japanese descent abroad and to bring to the attention of the people of Japan the current affairs of various countries, thereby deepening cultural exchanges, international friendships, and strengthening good relations and solidarity that exist in international society.
