Anime-zing: The World of Japanese Animation

Discover the exciting world of Japanese animation with “Anime-zing” a new exhibit from the Lake County Discovery Museum.

Change the way you see animation as you trace anime’s cultural roots, learn about its creators and fans and delve into its various genres. Learn about Japanese storytelling and the art of anime through popular shows and movies such as Speed Racer, Cowboy Bebop, Sailor Moon and Princess Mononoke. Explore this pop culture phenomenon through an interactive exhibit that includes anime clips, original production art, collectibles and more.
