  Daisetz Suzuki (1870-1966)\, credited with "introducing Zen to the West."
   Includes interviews of many people who knew him\, respected in their own
  right\, including poet Gary Snyder\, Zen master Robert Aitken\, religious
  scholar Huston Smith\, cinema critic Donald Richie\, with rare recordings
  of D.T. Suzuki\, composer John Cage\, psychoanalyst Erich Fromm\, and Tra
