第４展示室：　再移住と再建そして歴史の再考：1945年から現在に至るまで

1945年、日本の降伏をもって強制収容所は閉鎖されました。一世の多くは高齢化しており、中には80歳を過ぎた人々もおり、彼らが戦時中に失ったもの全てを取り戻すことはできませんでした。

しかし、日系アメリカ人たちは、徐々に戦前に築きあげた社会との繋がりを回復させ、同時に新しい関係を広げ、新たな一歩を踏み出していきました。
