A story of true friendship and commitment to Japan’s recovery by the international community following The Great East Japan Earthquake. Tohoku Tomo is the story of everyday people who decided to do something in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami. From volunteering with relief efforts to starting non-profit organizations, they were moved by a passion to help others and make a difference. While clean-up and recovery efforts are complete, there is a long road ahead for Tohoku to rebuild.
